AHIMA offers various credentials and certifications which health information management credentials can earn to qualify for certain jobs and to differentiate themselves in the industry. There are three types of certifications: HIM credentials, coding and specialty certifications.

CompTIA certifications align with IT infrastructure and cybersecurity career paths. Core certifications, like CompTIA A+, lay the groundwork for the specialized pathway certifications, and additional professional certifications cover necessary IT skills like project management.
CEWD has developed the Get Into Energy Career Pathways Model, a roadmap for entry into skilled energy technician positions in the Electric and Natural Gas Utility Industry. These positions include Lineworkers, Generation Technicians, Transmission and Distribution Technicians, and Plant/Field Operators
Working with the Manufacturing Institute and the many manufacturing certification organizations, the National Association of Manufacturers endorsed an organization of certification programs into a system of “stackable credentials,” including welding, construction and engineering.
The Dream It. Do It. Network works to change the perception of the manufacturing industry and inspire next-generation workers. Members of the Dream It. Do It. Network gain access to national support and resources to aid their pro-manufacturing efforts and join a network of industry leaders that implement activities to meet local, regional and statewide workforce needs.
