Â鶹¹ÙÍø Opposes Court Decision Jeopardizing Broadband Access for Students and Educators

In a July 24 ruling, the Fifth Circuit found the FCC's Universal Service Fund tax unconstitutional, causing uncertainty for federal broadband policy and potentially impacting schools using these programs. The Education and Libraries Networks Coalition (EdLiNC), of which Â鶹¹ÙÍø is a member, has vowed to fight the decision, emphasizing the risk of cutting off broadband access for millions of students, educators, and library patrons if the ruling stands.
